I'M AUGUST
I AM A CINCINNATI BASED INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER AND CREATOR. I HAVE LOVED AND EMBRACED CREATIVITY FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE.

AT AN EARLY AGE I FOUND A PASSION FOR DRAWING AND PAINTING. THROUGHOUT HIGHSCHOOL I WORKED IN ACRYLIC AND OIL PAINTS, FOCUSSING ON LANDSCAPE PAINTING AND ADDRESSING SOCIAL ISSUES THROUGH ART.

AS I GREW AS AN ARTIST AND EXPLORED POTENTIAL FUTURES BEYOND HIGHSCHOOL, I FOUND INDUSTRIAL DEISGN. THE IDEA OF USING CREATIVITY AND ART TO PROBLEM SOLVE IMMEDIATELY GRABBED MY ATTENTION.

AS A DESIGNER I HAVE A PASSION FOR FURNITURE, PRODUCT, AND AUTIOMOTIVE DESIGN. I LOVE TO WORK HANDS ON AND MOST ENJOY SKETCHING, PROTOTYPING AND WORKING IN CAD/RENDER SOFTWARES.

Mountain Bike:

When the weather allows, I always enjoy riding local trails.
Lift Weights:
​
I love to spend time at the gym, I try and go five days a week and love accomplishing goals. Both physical and mental health are incredibly important to me and the gym is a great influence on both!
Golf:
​
Golf is a great way for me to connect with friends, family, and coworkers, some friendly competition is a must. `
Cook:
​
I come from a family of great cooks, with my mother being the greatest influence as she was once a professional pastry chef. Cooking myself and friends a tasty meal is a great escape from stress.
Work on Personal Projects:

Whenever time allows, I find myself thinking up new ideas through quick sketching and modeling, all of which I hope to eventually complete.
Target Practice:
​
I enjoy taking friends to the range, and like golf, often, find myself in some kind of friendly competition, looser buys lunch.
Work on Our Race Car
I spend much of my free time in CAD or Procreate working on the UC Bearcat Electric Vehicle. I am soon to move into prototyping.
